"Rampage"
Superman has been turned into a rampaging menace by a new villain called Siphon, who managed to create a device to tamper with Superman's atomic structure. The new crazed Superman is seeking Siphon to destroy him, and the chase takes place in Gotham City, where Batman becomes aware of the situation.
The Dark Knight confronts Siphon and learns that he is responsible for Superman's transformation and that he can revert the process. In order to protect Siphon from Superman, Batman takes the villain through the sewers of Gotham to the Batcave, where they start working on a device that will revert Superman's transformation.
When Superman locates them in the Batcave, he attacks, but the device is finished and Siphon uses to stabilize Superman's atomic structure, but at the same time, drain his powers and absorbs them. When Batman realizes the treachery, the turns off the device and stops the process. However, Siphon has already gained some of Superman's powers and the Man of Steel finds it hard to defeat someone with his equal abilities. Superman gets an idea and forces Siphon to use his super-hearing, which causes the villain to lose control of his auditory nerves and while he is incapacitated, Superman uses the device to drain the powers from him. The exposure to all the powers causes the device to become overloaded and Siphon's powers are taken away from him in a fiery explosion. With the villain defeated, the heroes can return to their normal activities.
